Well there’s a surprise! (NOT) The Emperor, ruler of Aries, the astrological sign we are in until April 19, number 4 in the Major Arcana, April is the 4th month of the year, AND the Emperor is the card of this year too, 2020! Phew!! So what does that mean for this month?

Traditionally, the Emperor rules the Empire, the Kings and Queens rule over their region. The Emperor is like the CEO of a company and the buck stops with him. Keeping the topic of the moment in mind, the world is going through the COVID-19 Virus pandemic, I feel we are being instructed to ‘do as we are told.’ We need to listen to news, follow our own country and states rules and regulations.

The Emperor is methodical and traditional in his ways and I feel that the hard work on producing a vaccine is going to take a little longer than expected.

The Emperor is telling us to plan accordingly, keep a daily structure, work at being the CEOs of our home. He does not want us resting on our laurels. He is encouraging us to knuckle down and keep going. There are always opportunities that come from a crisis. He expects us to work, not just at our jobs, but to use this time to clean the house, sort out junk drawers, clear out closets, tidy up the yard….you get the idea.

I know some people are anxious and worried about their finances. It maybe worth seeking an alternative stream of income, a job working from home, online, for example. Or even consider setting up your own business as the Emperor is the ultimate businessman.

This is going to be a month of hard work whichever way we look at it, but this phase will pass and we will get back to a ‘new’ normal. Dig in, stay focused, remain positive, help yourself and your family by staying safe.
